How are you?

FOR REAL. HOW ARE YOU?

Alright, let's do this.

THIS IS A SOCIAL MESSAGE. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

I am reviving this blog I had left so many years ago - because apparently I'm one of those people than only feel inspired when things suck (like, thank you?), and this is one of those situations when you can definitely say EVERYTHING SUCKS, in all caps.

And I want it to be a place for US, all of us.

Like probably most of us, in the past couple of days I've been facing random outbursts of tears here and there. And I probably will have some in the coming days,

BUT

I have decided I'm over the mourning, and I'm already in fight mode.

Thing is, I also know I need to organize my thought, or they'll eat me up alive. And I think we all need the same, one way or another. Things are already tough and are going to be waaaaay tougher very soon for very long, so we need a plan.

We need to learn to make someting out of this rage. And not is some Erewhon inspirational way, Lord no.

It's a survival thing. We need to make something out of it or we will be annulled by it.

We need to be organized. To find useful tips to share. To share our thoughts and get out of the echo chamber and really see what can unite us. We ned to cooperate.

We need to be read for criticism and for positive reinforcement too.

Because when things are bad (or not, but especially when they're BAD), there's only two options.

You face them.

or

you FACE them.

Let's have things face US.

Because I don;t know about you, but I am EXHAUSTED. And I'm tired of being exhausted. SO let's end this once and for all.

In the next days (or weeks, sorry lads, I'm still getting used to the idea or organizing ideas) I'll try to look for and share useful tips on how to take of ourselves and of each other, info on fact checking, useful sources for those who ned them more than air (I see you, sisters in the red belt, I see you, LGBTQ+ lovelies wondering how you will access your hormones, I see you, all of you from a minority fearing to take the subway to work, I FUCK1NG SEE YOU), lliterally anything that can be useful.

And I would like anyone who passes by to drop a suggestion, or share a thought, or just vent - because even seeing someone else put our thoughts into the words we may not be finding in the moment is something that can help feeling less lost, less lonely.

I am here. I am standing here, and I am fuck1ng standing by. Let's show them what it means.

HOW ARE YOU?

FOR REAL.

Take care.

Love you,

C.

(Below, actual footage of me reacting to the elections like when watching a HORRO MOVIE). Share yours too, I am sure I'm not the only one that has one of these (am I?).
